What Makes a Great Review

Be Honest and Balanced
Share both positives and negatives. Even great experiences can have areas for improvement, and that's valuable information.
Stay Relevant and Recent
Focus on your recent experience. Businesses change over time, so current feedback is most helpful to others.
Be Respectful
You can be critical without being rude. Focus on the experience, not personal attacks.
What to Avoid
Fake or Incentivized Reviews
Don't post reviews for businesses you haven't used or reviews in exchange for compensation. This undermines trust in our community.
Offensive Language
Avoid profanity, hate speech, threats, or harassment. Keep reviews professional and constructive.
Personal Information
Don't share phone numbers, email addresses, or other private information about individuals.
Spam or Advertising
Reviews are for sharing experiences, not promoting your own business or posting irrelevant links.
Duplicate Reviews
Don't post multiple reviews for the same business. You can edit your existing review instead.
Verified Reviews
Reviews marked with a verification badge indicate that we've confirmed the reviewer had a genuine transaction or interaction with the business.
Businesses can provide transaction data or invite customers via email to help increase the number of verified reviews.
Understanding Our Rating Scale
Outstanding experience that exceeded expectations
Positive experience with minor areas for improvement
Acceptable but nothing special, met basic expectations
Below expectations with significant issues
Extremely poor experience, far below expectations
Business Responses
Businesses can respond to reviews to address concerns, provide additional context, or thank customers for positive feedback.
Responses should be professional and constructive. We may remove responses that violate our guidelines.
Reporting Violations
If you see a review that violates these guidelines, please report it. We review all reports and take appropriate action.
Note that simply disagreeing with a review is not grounds for removal. Reviews represent individual opinions and experiences.
